We are committed to developing and disseminating research about philanthropic opportunities involving Cuba in general and, in particular, our five areas of focus. To that end, we are in the process of organizing the Cuba Foundation Research Institute, which shall be based within the Cuba Foundation and led by a researcher knowledgeable about Cuba, economic development and/or philanthropy. Its mandate will include serving as our in-house research unit; publishing our research and the research of others; maintaining a “resources portal”; and acting as a convener for conferences and seminars.
